March is here. And for the eighth year in a row, we're swapping out our yellow shoe covers for orange ones.
If you're new around here, let me catch you up.
In 2012, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. MS is unpredictable. MS doesn't follow a script — no two people experience it the same way, and the symptoms can hit from every direction: fatigue, spasms, stiffness, vision problems, memory issues, you name it.
So we decided not to.
Every March — my birthday month — Simmons One Hour goes orange. Our technicians wear orange shoe covers instead of our signature yellow. Every customer we visit gets to be part of it. You take a picture in your orange gear, post it with #OrangeOutMS, and we make a $10 donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for every photo submitted.
Simple. Powerful. Community.
Eight years later, we've donated $12,441.
That number hits different when I say it out loud. Because it didn't come from one big check or one corporate sponsor. It came from thousands of individual moments — a photo here, a shared post there, a customer who didn't know anything about MS until one of our team members showed up in orange shoe covers and told them the story.
That's what this campaign is. It's not a marketing play. It's a mission. It's personal.
MS doesn't have a cure yet. But research is moving. Awareness is growing. And every dollar donated helps fund the science, the programs, and the support that people living with this disease depend on.
All of March, we're going orange. If you see our team, you'll see orange. If we come to your home this month, we're bringing the cause with us.
Here's how you join us:

Eight years in, I'm more grateful than ever. For this community. For your support. For every person who's worn orange, taken a photo, shared a post, or just said a prayer.
You help carry this fight. And I don't take that lightly.
Let's make Year 8 the biggest one yet.
